An experiment in the economics of production: how can we shift focus from consumption of a finished product to investment in the processes of design, print & production?

This is a poster and a text:

an analog R-Echos

This is a preview of the poster; you can download freely a digital archive: R-Echos issue 1.

Would you be interested in investing in the tangible production of this work?

  1. You can download the digital archive
and decide wether or not you're interested in particpating in this project.
  2. Each participant donate a minimum of £8
(more is welcome:) and consequently becomes a shareholder of the project
  3. The publication is produced
  4. We share the publications
    • This means each participant own a fair amount of publications and participants decide (collectively or individually) what to do with it.

Each participant can donate a minimum of £8. The amount of raised money will determine the material constraints that will apply to the printed version of the poster and pay for the printing. The final result will be evenly distributed to the participants. The process of raising the funds and producing the poster will be documented.
The following donation page has a paypal form you can use to become shareholder (buy your share); alternatively, you can also contact us directly and come have a coffee with us via email

an attempt at an analog R-Echos:
a poster and a text.

Printed on a A2 in offset 4 colours with its acompanying text on A4s, the content of this publication is a poster and a text; it documents our research for an offline and printed continuation of the R-Echos.net re-publishing practice. It is available to download in the temporary form of a digital archive: R-Echos issue 1, freely accessible.
Since 2004, R-Echos is an online experimental magazine based on the republication as a practice. Topics fluctuate from biology to graphic design, through ecology, business... We are agglomerating anything we like concerning deign, art, computing, science... The form of the website is made of collage of texts, links, images, ressources, videos, sounds, carefully hand picked to participate to this very personnal publication.
